Introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has existed for over 4700 years and is one of the world's most comprehensive medical systems with its unique principles, diagnostic methods and therapies. The effectiveness of TCM has been recognized by more and more people outside China as time goes by. At present, it is benefiting over 1/4 of the world’s population in more than 60 different countries.

TCM considers the human body as an organic whole with a network of MERIDIANS carrying flow of QI (Vital Energy) and connecting together every internal organ. TCM also holds as its central belief that health in all parts of the body is due to the relative balance of YIN and YANG. By correcting imbalance of YIN and YANG and regulating the QI and blood circulation in human body, this healing system gives the patient a holistic improvement as well as treating the indicated symptoms.

The two basic and most important components of TCM are - One-To-One Herbal Tea Therapy and Acupuncture.
